The new LuxTrust Middleware - 100% Javaless!
The new LuxTrust Middleware (version 1.0.1. from December 2016), required to use Smartcards, Signing Sticks and Luxembourgish electronic identity cards, is now available on our website: drivers.luxtrust.lu
Download and install, without delay, this new version which replaces the old LuxTrust Middleware! The new middleware requires permission to allow pop-ups when connecting, and when signing electronically. You will then have to authorize them when your browser invites you to do so.
The update is necessary to perform your operations online, from all web browsers and without Java. This approach will gradually be implemented by all our application providers (local banks, state services, etc.) in the coming weeks. Given the evolution of browsers and the announced deactivation of Java plugins in most web browsers, former versions of the Middleware are no longer supported.
