Remove your LuxTrust smartcard or signing stick from your reader!

To prevent attacks (e.g. illegal money transfers), LuxTrust fully endorses and supports CIRCL’s (The Computer Incident Response Center Luxembourg) recommendations listed on http://circl.lu/pub/tr-38/

LuxTrust draws user’s attention on the need to remove the smartcard from a card reader or the signing stick from a USB port:

1. as soon an unusual screen (e.g. maintenance screen) is displayed, or

2. as soon as the transaction request(s) is (are) finalized.
   
   
   
   NEVER leave an unused smartcard in a reader or a unused signing stick in a USB port
