In the press, some Medias referred to security issues regarding “security Tokens”, devices that generate OTPs (One Time Passwords). In particular, one online article based on the report of a French research institution, explicitly mentioned one LuxTrust Product.

LuxTrust would like to outline that no LuxTrust Token is referred to in the report. The attack that was described is not technically feasible on LuxTrust Tokens, given the fact that these Tokens do not store the user’s private keys.

Furthermore, Tokens deployed by LuxTrust in Luxembourg are only one element of the overall security solution.
